Jackie and Tovi arrived in 2015 from Alaska, where they led the group Swing 49. Jackie’s soulful and improvisational singing charmed even the most gruff Alaskan fishermen--and the judges at the 2017 Seattle Jazz Vocalist Competition, where she was a finalist! Tovi studied classical and jazz guitar at the University of Alaska--he plays hard-swinging rhythm and playful solos. Our groove is never better than when Tovi plays with us!
