Concert with Tovi Newman and Jacqueline Schafer - SOLD OUT

 —  —

Bainbridge Island Museum of Art Auditorium, 550 Winslow Way E, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

Jackie and Tovi arrived in 2015 from Alaska, where they led the group Swing 49. Somewhere between Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, and Aretha Franklin, Jackie’s soulful and improvisational singing charmed even the most gruff Alaskan fishermen--and the judges at the 2017 Seattle Jazz Vocalist Competition, where she was a finalist! Tovi studied classical and jazz guitar at the University of Alaska--his playful solos and powerful rhythm make the “Re-Arrangers” swing their hardest!

The BIMA auditorium is one of our favorite performance spaces: beautiful and comfortable; every seat is a great one, and most importantly the sound is amazing! These shows can fill up--we recommend buying a ticket in advance. Tickets are pay-what-you-can. To purchase, just click the little oval below that says "Your Price".

THIS SHOW IS SOLD OUT! Additional people are welcome to hear the show from the BIMA bistro just outside the auditorium. We'll also have a waitlist sheet at the event starting around 5pm--you can join the waitlist and if there are any unclaimed seats, we'll release them at 7:15pm.
