This event is a fundraiser organized by the Band Boosters. The boosters are BHS parents who are organizing a trip to Cuba for jazz band kids over spring break 2020. They need to raise a lot of money to help with the cost! This show will feature our band plus the Cuban Heels, led by Alan Simcoe. We're hoping to have guest appearances with both bands by some of the high school jazz band kids. Should be a fun evening!

Seattle Jazz Vespers is a secular concert of professional jazz music, for those who love jazz, with an inspirational message.

The monthly concerts, now in their 18th season, are hosted in the beautiful historic gothic sanctuary of Seattle First Baptist on First Hill at the corner of Harvard and Seneca streets.

These concerts are an opportunity for jazz lovers throughout the city to hear Seattle's best groups in a concert setting.

Seattle Jazz Vespers is free, family-friendly, and open to the public--no tickets or reservations are needed. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Free parking is available, and refreshments are served after the conclusion of the concert. Come early for best seating.

The artists will perform one set and during their break a "free-will" offering will be taken to support the musicians, followed by a short non-sectarian inspirational message. The performers' second set will conclude the two-hour vespers concert.
